Thanked: 3shaving mug or scuttle
got this for free dont know what to make of it, is it a scuttle, mug or what. How do i use it,excuse my noobness. I only have a old spice shave mug that use now.

i dont know for sure but looks like a type of scuttle, fill with hot water and use that other area to keep the brush warn, but im not positive on this

If I'm not mistaken, the open side allows the scuttle to be filled w warm water for your brush or to use for lathering, while the 1/2 shelf is designed to lather your soap/cream

usually they have holes on the soap side to allow the water to drain off and help keep the soap warm so I don't know what the idea is there.

if i'm not mistaken.. that cup was not designed for shaving.. it's original purpose was to drink hot tea.. the spot on top is to set your teabag..

i'm quite sure you could use it for shaving though.. why not just grate down your favourite soap and press it into the top portion? it may not actually warm the soap any, but atleast you can soak your brush and save a little water.

Nope it's a scuttle actually ,it just doesn't have holes.I have one and honestly........they're only good for looks.I am am avid tea person too but a teacup it aint...sorry.

did you purchase it from a shaving site or something? who makes it, conk?
