    Default Omega boar 81052 disappointment?

    Hi Gents!

I have an Omega 81052 for a for about a 2 weeks. Some guys say that it is very soft right out of the box, because its banded boar. The strange thing is that my was more prickly and stiffer than my unbanded 80097 boar I also found a photo of some users 81052 and it looks diffrent than my. It is rather a fan shape and my is like bulb shape which i suppouse effects with more backbone. Is my omega made from diffrent boar grade? I will lather it more and see what happens but I'm quite disappointed and cofused. Some ideas what's wrong with my brush? Any other experiences with it?

My brush is on the two last pics.

Sorry for my english, it's not the best

    Since no one has responded....

Your brush looks fine to me. Boars take a while to break in and get softer. Just use it, do not worry about it. It will serve you well.

I'va had problems with shedding. Omega told me that they can no longer get hold of the quality boar hair they used to use. They sent me a Syntex that is now my go to brush.

You have problems with shedding? That sounds serious. Have you seen your physician?

My Omega 81052 is my go to brush, I bought it in December and its nicely broken in now but it took quite a while. It doesn't feel very prickley now but it did to start with.
