Ever-Ready 925 brush needs help
I just bought this brush today at an antique store in Vegas. Obviously I need a fancy new badger knot. My problem is, I found out that the black portion and green portion of the handle is loose and can be rotated independently of each other (not a full 360 spin though).
Should I go ahead and pull them completely apart and epoxy the two parts back together or what would be the best route to make the HANDLE solid for use again?

Thanks for your opinions.

I would first investigate to determine if the black portion is what holds the knot in so when you replace the knot that part will be taken care of too. If it's not part of the knot you can just epoxy it. Those brushes were pretty inexpensive in the old days and I don't think they were meant to last a very long time.
Some guys do collect them though and I'm sure one will chime in with some hands on experience. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
