    Default Is this normal?

I have the simpson beaufort 4 pure badger brush. I know it takes a while for them to "break in" and they loose a few hairs here and there but since I got it in early febuary it looses one to three hairs pure shave. I was wondering if it was normal?

    Thanks, Ethan

Can't say if it's 'normal', but I have a Chubby 3 2-band Super and that took about 5 months of irregular use to stop shedding.

It's probably fine, but if you're bothered contact Simpsons customer support and they'll change the knot for you.

I know how badly this sucks, as a user. I hated seeing the shedding on my brush. Still, after all that it looks like it hasn't lost a hair.

After a month and a half it should not be losing any hairs assuming you use it at least a few times a week. If that's the case you should contact your vendor.

I got the brush from SRD, would I talk to them about it or the Simpson company?

Try SRD first. They may have a good return policy in place.

I have the same brush from SRD and have used it exclusively since around Christmas. It did shed a bit at the beginning (a few hairs at a time) but now it might shave a hair every now and again (usually one hair). The way you describe your experience with the brush sounds exactly like mine. I couldn't tell you though if that is abnormal.
