Default My new Vie-Long Platera brush

I just bought a brand new Vie-Long Platera shaving brush (16413) from Bullgoose shaving. This is a bigger brush than the one I was using previously (25 mm knot). Let me just say it can produce and hold a lot of lather. The white badger bristles are soft, and it feels pretty nice on the face. What I also like about this brush is the faceted handle, which is comfortable, and gives a good grip. It came with cute stand too.

But where is the picture with the brush overflowing with lather?

I am on a bit of a Cella kick lately, it is easy to face lather with, it gives a nice shave, and I like the smell too. Also not overly costly. This brush is so soft on the face, wow!

    Nice!

It definately can hold a lot of lather, that's for sure.

Brushes is one of the things I never got the AD for, I still have the one I got when I first started out and I don't intend to get a new one until that one perishes.

Now razors and hones, that's another story...!

    Stubear,
Thanks, this one is a keeper! Vie-Long is a company you do not hear about as much as some of the other big names in brushes, they really do make some nice stuff though. You almost feel obligated to do a three pass with the lather you would get out of this ( if time allows).

With that much lather, next time you shave invite a few friends over to join you.

Cella is an undervalued shave soap.
It does respond well to a good brush.
    Enjoy....

Very good brush, I am a fan of the vie-long brushes, but I prefer the stiffer "white badger" of the 16726 or the E16510 (made specially for an spanish webstore, giftsandcare.com)
