Brush repair
I have a Parker pure badger in rosewood. The finish is flaking off at the corner on the bottom of the handle. Any ideas on how to repair it? I use it everyday and I do not submerge the handle, dry it out well and place it in the stand.
Thanks

The question is whether the handle is actually rosewood or just a finish. If it's sold wood yes some stain and varnish and some sanding should make a repair easy. If it's some generic wood with a rosewood like finish that will make it more difficult since you have to match and recreate the exact color and texture and pattern.

Well, since the brush was not too expensive I tried something easy.... I grabbed the Mrs. clear nail polish and touched up the chipped spots. Took a couple of coats and it doesn't match flawlessly, but works. I think the handle is rosewood throughout.
