Thanked: 170I fill my scuttle, and add about a half cup of water to the inner bowl (which I will pour out later) and put it in the microwave for 3 1/2 minutes. Heats it up very nicely, and I don't have to boil water on the stove. Love warm lather!

Thanked: 146I have a Georgetown G5. I hear alot of people do not like this scuttle due to it's small size. But IME this has worked well for me. If the lather gets cold, I just add more hot water from the faucet. As my experience with the straight gets better, I seem to have plenty of warm lather left. However on leisurely weekend shaves it will need a refill. All in all I really like mine, not too big and works for me.
