A handy brush travel kit
Just thought I'd share this. I came up with a handy way to travel with a brush & shave stick - I picked up a rigid eye-glass case at a local Outdoor Sporting goods store for $5 - it has a zipper closure, allowing some air flow. And it's a perfect fit for my 20mm Vulfix brush and a stick of La Toja. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Simple, sturdy, inexpensive. Yup, I like it. There are all different sizes of those as well. I may have to stop by and pick one up.

Hello, bjmoose:
I like your idea. What do you do with your razor? Do you have a separate travel kit for it? With your imagination, I expect another good idea is on the way. Well done.

Nice! If you want more protection for your brush a large pill bottle with small holes for ventilation drilled in to it works wonderfully.

my only question is how do you deal with the moisture. I know it can be kept partially open but does the lining of the case get wet?

Hey Obie,
Thanks. I don't travel with a DE, as I just use a carry-on when I fly out of here. Hence, no blades allowed. And since I go to a lot of off-the-beaten-track places, it's not easy to find blades. So I travel with a Sensor Excel, and that I just put in my toiletries kit.
Another good idea that I couldn't accomplish, as my pharmacy doesn't carry a bottle that fits to my satisfaction...
I shave at night before bed, so the brush is usually dry by the morning. Or if the flight is at night, I just don't shave before leaving.Last edited by bjmoose01; 07-08-2011 at 12:36 PM.
