Nice looking travel container for soap?
I know I've seen these before, but I don't know where. I like something like this (http://www.pharmacyny.com/pc-211-18-...lver-dish.aspx) but obviously don't want to pay $90 for it.

This may work.

I've ordered bottles from them before and have been pleased with those products.

That's not bad, thanks Howard. The other alternative, of course, is to reuse a travel tub. But, I'd probably have to cut the soap to use it (or buy small travel soap) since all the soap I own is made for the wooden dishes.

I just realized there is no scale on that picture. You may want to call and make sure the dimensions are appropriate before ordering.

I think Mama Bear also sells the screw-top plastic containers that her soaps come in (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). I think they'd be perfect for travel and cost less than $2.00

I could use the ziploc storage containers to good effect (I even have some), but I just thought that since the rest of my shaving travel kit is especially nice, it would be nice to get a little metal, wood, or nice plastic container for my nice soaps. I also think a screw-top would probably be more secure for me.

So russell,
Do you have the wooden dishes then at home? If not you could get one with some not bad soap from the Crabtree & Evelyn store. Then you will have the pretty wooden bowl for your nice soaps.

I have a couple wooden dishes (with soap in them) and they are lovely, but I can't travel with them. They make these bowls with the loosely fitting lids for easy display and evaporation, I guess. Would love to have a wooden case I could close securely (without using a rubber band
).

Thanked: 0There is an interesting product on the classicshaving.com site (in Travel Needs) that might work. http://www.classicshaving.com/catalo...344/404585.htm
Unfortunately they stated that they are out of stock at the moment.
You might send them an email to see if/when they will restock.
Regards,
Bob
