I just checked my tracking #, and my new Thater #4125/1I Fan shaped brush has been delivered to my house. Can't wait to get home today. I'm so excited!

Hello, Guarnera,
You will be pleased with the brush. It adds enormously to the joys of shaving. Enjoy.

Thanked: 4
Got the brush last night. Very nice indeed. Can't wait to use it. The only problem is that it doesn't fit in any of the brush stands that I have. it has to much hair and is a little thicker then the hole in the brush stand. I'll just have to make a custon stand. Think I have some Aboyna burl that's just right for the job. Oh Boy!

Hello, Guarnera,
Yes, matching an existing brush drip stand to the brush sometimes is a problem. An Amboyna burl brush stand is an attractive idea. All except one of my brush stands are the acrylic type, in which case I grind them to fit the brush. As for the Thater, oh, yes, she's a sweet little brush.

Thanked: 4Used the Thater last night. Usually I make 5 bowls or lather on different days to break in a brush before I ever shave with it. The Thater I only did it once and couldn't wait any longer so the next day I shaved with it. When I was done for a while I thought, how did you like the brush? To be honest I couldn't remember. It was kind of like I hadn't even used a brush. The tips were so soft on my face that I didn't even notice them. I'll have to pay better attention next time, and let you all know more. But so far I like it a lot.I'm sure it will only get better.

Thanked: 4Well, I've used my new Thater brush a bit more. It's a spoiler. I had a list of other brush's I wanted, like a Simpson Chubby, and some others. But after getting the Thater I can't see why anymore. This is such a nice brush I can't even imagine using anything else. Nice backbone and very soft tips. I'm spoiled.
