    Default Superior Brushes

    Gents,

I'm a brush fanatic. Regardless of whether I use a straight razor or a DE,
regardless of the shaving cream or soap I use, I ALWAYS enjoy my brush.
And tonight, I received my latest, a 25mm Super from Superior Brushes!

Here it is, right out of the box:

The handle is made out of an acrylic base that is used in making countertops!
Yeah, weird, but an incredible "bulletproof" handle!

After a brief soak in shampoo...

A gorgeous bloom! This is my second Superior Brush, and there will
be more! I'll post a review this weekend!

Would you belive only $85 bucks! The tips are soft, but the bristles have backbone. Although this is only my second brush from Superior, I have used 4 of them. Some minor changes have been made which have greatly improved the performance of this brush. One thing I have not mentioned...Superior does custom brushes. We discussed doing a "barber's pole" handle, but I decided not to wait. Custom brushes are definitely available.

Wow. That's amazing. The way you're describing the bristles, it's supposed to be perfect. And the price is more than right. How's the water retention?

It drinks like a camel. It holds water very well, to the point it has a small learning curve on how much to shake out.
