Thanked: 9Burma Shave brush reigns again
Yesterday did not feel like honing so decided to do some test lathering.
Crabtree & Evelyn boar brush is definitely out. This thing is worthless. Can't hold water and when I add it (sprinkle droplets) it still does not whip up nice lather. Hope to at least get some AS balm in the exchange. I tried to make it work but it's just a bad product, although it surely looks nice.
Omega Silver Tip holds TONS of water but is just a tad soft for me. Stil, it makes most lather of all my brushes and is quite fast on the soaps.
Last, I took out the Burma shave ugly (I had put it away when I got the pretty C&E) - and I felt so bad: it is still by far the brush I enjoy using most... if only it didn't have the embarrassing handle!
I am expecting a Rooney Super Silvertip soon, though... I really hope it performs as well as my Burma
Cheers
Ivo

I do like the Tweezerman more for soft soaps but their minimum dealer order is just too large for me to include them at this point.
