    Default My first reknot

This was my first reknot, I don't believe that the handle is very old but I really liked the weight of it. It a Aramis handle with a TGN 20mm XH Finest knot set at 50mm. I have been using a tweezerman before this, and this knot is soooo much nicer. I used a RTV silicone to set the knot and it is holding up like a champ, and its waterproof to boot.

Looks great,RTV will work fine, and will make for a far easyer reknot when you wear that puppy out

That was my line of thinking too. I didn't see a need to use epoxy to hold a knot in. If it comes loose I'll just put some more RTV on it and stick it back in.

Have used RTV several times for people that wanted an Ivory handle but are unsure of the knot and loft they wanted, makes for a painless removel.
