Default The best way to break in

Use your new brush in the shower to wash your entire body,,,,,,Use tons of shaving soap and get a bit rough with it.

The shower head is great for getting soap out. Apply more soap and go at it again.

Not only will this get that wet badger smell out of the brush, but it will also start the bloom naturally.

It might seem a bit strange, but it really works. What could be better for breaking in your brush than skin and shaving soap? Your body has TONS of skin....

Works great, feels great, and your brush will bloom quickly/naturally. No need to use chemicals or shampoos.

    Interesting! Thanks for sharing.

Though if you wash your entire body, you might give the brush a few new smells!

I do not recommend washing your ENTIRE body with most brushes. That scritch/scratch brushes have is not always a good thing.

The Rooney Heritage is a different story all together. It has gel like silky soft tips...... (oddly this brush broke in very fast---I took very long showers.)

Well, that a novel way to do it.

I've never had to actually break-in a badger brush but maybe I've been missing something.
