What's the difference betwee a dirty bird scuttle and a schwar scuttle I'm wanting a scuttle but torn betwee what to get

You would need someone who has both to answer that. I assume by schwar you mean the Oskar from Germany. I have one of those. It's very large and keeps the lather warm a very long time. I don't know about the other one. I think functionally it's the best cosmetically is a different story.

I have a dirty bird (1.5) it also takes a lot of real state in the sink, has ridges to help build lather, have a lip on the top to keep lather from over flowing, and yes it keeps the lather warm for my 30 min shaves I do.

Sometimes I change the water after my second pass if I'm shooting for BBS as it takes a little longer.

Have not use the German one but it looks nice. I made my decision on price, as I read that both do the job.
