Hi, I just purchased my first brush yesterday and
I was wondering if somebody could tell me more about it.

That's a nice vintage brush. You might get lucky and be able to use the knot thats in it, but more than likely you are going to have to put a new knot in it.

Ever ready was one of the largest makers of brushes in the day. Mostly basic quality stuff. When you get it you'll see if it's serviceable.
