Thanked: 1first badger brush
got my first badger hair brush today as the title says. WOWOWOWOW this thing is soft and can hold water. also there is a huge difference in the way it produces lather. on the right is my boar or synthetic bristle brush, it was given to me so im not sure. it has a cool looking wooden handle and was not very pricey. was classified as best badger which i read id a subjective statement.

Thanked: 983Not all brushes are the same. Even if it is the same grade of bristles, they seem to vary from brush to brush. Glad you got one that impresses you. I have two that don't and two that do. The two that don't one is a cheap brush and the other is a not so cheap brush. The two that do impress me one is cheap (Homemade handle attached to TGN 24mm knot) and the other is not so cheap.
Price does not always beget quality, but you do stand a better chance of quality for more money.

Thanked: 1oh no i do still love the boar brush, the tough bristles really exfoliate the skin. my girlfriend has found that out and she uses one i dont to apply face washes.
