Default Pure Badger Brush by The Art of Shaving

    Hi,

Last year, I purchased a full size lavender kit from The Art of Shaving, the brush that came in is a "Pure Badger" brush, which works perfectly well; I would like to know first who is the one that manufactures the brushes that are labeled as The Art of Shaving and then if it's a good brush.

AOS only sells quality items. You pay a premium when you buy from them.

Pure badger is usually a basic brush in the scheme of things. However that has nothing to do with a fit and finish of the brush.

I asked this very question to the guy at the AOS store by me - his answer was "Victoria"

I have one and use it alot. IMO good backbone for creams or soaps and face lathering. Good Luck with yours.

I use the AoS pure badger brush about 60% of the time. Some soaps just work better with that brush over my other brushes, Mitchels wool fat for instance lol. Most likely it's my style of use but thats how the cooking gets munched

Hey DwarvenChef, what is the knot size of your AoS brush, if you know or can estimate. Thanks.

I own 2 AOS badger brush's, love them both, med. size very good with most any thing I throw at it, soaps, creams, even that one cream that's really a soap or maybe it doesn't know what it is, Cella is the one I"m talking about, the brush does just fine with that one also.
