    Default Synthetic /badger brush

Over my time of straight shaving I have accrued more than several Badger brushes including silver tipped, best badger and ect. Could someone recomend a badger/synthetic or combination boars hair/badger ? Wanted to try one for a long time and seems as if there are a million out there and just need some steering in the right directon as far as brand. I really don't care for the larger brushes, something along the line of Simpson's Tulip. Probably around 22 mm knot.Does the Golden Nib offer these knotts in the above mentioned format ?

    Driver,

I had the Omega No. 643174 banded synthetic at one time and found it pleasing. You might wan to give it a try. Here is a link for you:

Driver, my dear friend, thank you for the kind words. I enjoy myself here.
Yes, I think you will like that synthetic. Don't forget, though, it will not puff up like a badger. It will also feel softer with limited backbone, but that seems to work for these synthetic brushes.
    Stay well.

I would avoid the boar/badger combos. It seems to me they combine the worst qualities of the two into one brush. It's better to just go with a pure boar if that's what you want.
