Can we get another SRP Brush deal going?
I'm not sure of the interest but during the last one I thought I was going to deploy so couldn't pull the trigger on one(ok two as I wanted both style's)
I'd be very interested in getting one as my BAD is kicking in for some reason...
anyone else interested???????

Thanked: 1936Organizing a group buy takes a lot of work, but everyone should do it once to know this. Take the reins...
Yes, I would be interested in a group buy on a quality brush.

Thanked: 109I think for such an initiative the management must be consulted.

If you want to do a group buy and it's through the forum the management needs to run the operation. If you just want to gauge interest and then take it via PM and conduct things privately you can certainly do that as long as all involved realize the site has no part or responsibility-liability in the transaction. At this point there is no talk among the staff of doing another group buy. That doesn't mean we can't if there is enough interest.
It is a lot of work between contacting the supplier and working things out and collecting money and then mailing out to individuals.

FWIW, I bought one of each of the Thater group buy. They were great but I prefer a shorter loft than what they were. So I sold them in the classifieds and bought a fan and a bulb from SRD with a 48 and a 50mm loft. Both 2 bands, like the group buy brushes, but one has a black acrylic handle and the other a really cool faux horn. They are more to my liking in size. Say that to say, they just got another order in, I was talking to Don the other day, from Thater and you can pick and choose between handle materials and styles and loft/knot diameter. If you go with a group buy there will be one or maybe two alternatives in size and materials. AFAIC the Thaters are equal to any Plisson or Simpson ..... Rooney , or whatever.

Thanked: 1195Hey Paul,
You might want to consider posting a WTB/T ad in the classifieds. Many members bought both styles and later decided to sell one or the other, and then ended up being sold here. It's worth a shot anyway.
