    Default Waiting for new knots

I have a couple of old brushes stripped of their old boar hair and clean they nice up.
The green handle, has been used by my wife's grandfather around 1950.
The wooden handle i dont now,it was a gift from my wife her sister they visit a fleamarket and bring that home.

Now waiting for 2 silvertip knots from thegoldennib, hope they come quick and then 2brushes richer.
I love the green handle, wich is very nice in the hand, and think the new knot looks fine on him.

What is the green handle made of? Is it stone?

No its wood for sure,There was a piece of paint off the foot. I could see the wood.
This is now restored, and polished so he shines again , and everything is neatly smoothed.
It is 3 layers of paint on each other, brown / black and beautiful green then some sort of epoxy.
