Thread: Let's have a contest!!!

Well, it's getting towards the dog days of summer and my pooch just to wants lie around the house all day and eat. I keep showing him pictures of his cousins pulling sleds up north but he couldn't care less. The other day while I was shaving he jumped up on the counter and I could see trouble ahead cause he was eyeing my badger brushes. He said if he could get some of those he would sure know how to enjoy them (if you know what I mean).

So that got me to thinking, what would your dog do with one of your brushes? We want to see. What no dog in the house? Well dress up as one or use a facsimile we're not picky.

So the idea is to submit a photo of your dog with one of your brushes doing something with it, maybe shaving?

The winner will be chosen by yours truly and I have the perfect thing for the dog days of summer, a new unopened tub of Vulfix shaving cream in rose scent that will be enjoyed by the winner.

We'll let this run a couple of weeks or so. I'll give notice when it's about to be over.

Just submit the photos in this thread. Oh and everyone is welcome no matter where you live in the world.

I got no children but I play with that toy dog almost daily.

I live in a house full of women. Little yapping dog had to come along! My daughter "rescued" this scruffy one. Pretty good and entertaining little fella, he doesn't yap at all. I don't know what he is. I call him a long-haired possum! He goes by Bart.
I took an old brush and set it on the floor. The yapping pomeranian would have nothing to do with it, but ol Bart dug right in. He proceeded to shake hell out of it and settled in to lather up. I don't know what those bristles will do to his digestive tract, but since he eats anything, I suspect he will do fine. Don't have the heart to take it away from him! .......Tom


(Update: the wife took it away from him. Swallowed a few hairs, stuck in his throat and coughed and hacked a while! He is fine, tho!)

I hope you didn't give little Bart a taste for badger, he might be on the prowl for your 2 banded super badger. Might need to lock them up in the liquor cabinet now.

How about this Spendur. Not much of a contest without competition! Why don't we take suggestions for a new contest. The suggestion with the most likes will determine the nature of the contest! It must be brush-related! I will donate my "winnings" as the prize! My family and I had fun with the photos and "Bart the brush dog" seems to have become a forum fixture!
