Thanked: 1new brush
Just finished my first home made brush in a steampunk style
The base of the brush is made of 3 copper fitings. an 42/42mm soldered on an 42/38mm with an 28/28mm soldered on that one.
The brush size is an 27mm knot with an 60mm top size that I bought on ebay.
there are some solder flaws that I am restoring atm
I'm planning to make a straight that matches to when I got some time.

Thanked: 13245That is a really good idea, thinking outside the box and you came up with something cool..
Is the base a cap ????
Are you going to epoxy coat it or leave it au natural ????

Thanked: 1The base is open at the moment, but I'm thinking of closing it with either epoxy (with gears in it) or just with a copper plate. I'm not going to coat it in epoxy, I hope that in time the copper gets a 'classic' look from the water.
