Thread: New mug?

I was doing a little cleaning the other day and ran across this mortar and pestle, which I've had for a while. I believe it's made out of cocobolo. Would this work as a shaving mug?

Cocobolo is naturally water-resistant but the oils may be irritants. I'd try it. If you get irritation, just pop out the soap, give it a good rinse and voila.

If it was sold to you as "safe for food use" and especially if it is hard enough to grind spices in it should work fine.
