Thread: Simpson 58

I've been looking for a shaving cream brush. I plan on using it for face lathering and bowl lathering. I have a Simpson Commodore x2 that's ok for bowl lathering but I want something better. I really like my Simpson Classic 1 but I use that for face lathering since it has a short loft. What do you guys think about the Simpson 58?

I have both the 58 and 59, and either is excellent for face or bowl lathering from a cream. They're among my favorite brushes and lather better than my Chubby. If you want more feedback on the 58, there's a long thread on the 50 series over at Badger and Blade that started 9/17/12.
