    Default Hair soft now spiky?

i had received a badger hair brush from a purchase a while back. the brush was soft and felt amazing but now feels very prickly and irritates my face. does that mean that the brush needs to be replaced? also how should i be caring for my brushes? the shelf life of this one was under a year.

What have you been do with it after each shave? Do you have hard water?

There a could things you can do but I would start by just washing it with shampoo and conditioner and see if the restores it.

If that doesn't work there are some other things you can try but they are a bit more caustic.

A decent badger hair brush should last through your grand kids time.

If you are in NYC you have very soft water so that's not the issue. I've never seen a badger brush do that so something is going on. maybe you are not rinsing properly and you have soap buildup?
