I have several, including Simpson, Thater and Rooney. My Rooney is the densest by far, a lather hog. I like the the Thater bulb shape brushes. They're a bit more sturdy that the fan's, They have more backbone ime.

I am partial to my Simpson though. It's got great backbone, and soft tips. It's a Persian Jar, two band. Great brush.
