Brush Brand? Pegasus Holding Cross
Since I decided to do my first brush re-knot now I want to do another. This hobby is turning into an addiction, but so much fun. So I picked up a vintage brush with a handle that looked comfortable, but no clue who made it. I have a Rubberset brush that was NOS when I get it that has a similar handle, but not the same markings. This one has what looks like a pegasus holding a cross. Was wondering if anyone has seen these markings.

Sorry I can't help with an id, but what a beautiful brush ( what I can see of it ). Odd corporate logo, if you ask me. Perhaps a small run by an established maker contracted out to a long forgotten independent seller.

Yea I thought the handle would make a nice brush once I replace the knot. Fits comfortably in the hand. Here is the whole brush. It needs to be cleaned up yet though.

Very nice!
Don't forget to post pics after clean up and reknotting.
Reknotting old brushes is addictive. I find old shaving brushes at antique shops everywhere, many of them look like they've never been used, like yours.
