"The Art of Shaving" Brush
I have that brush. This is my first and only brush so far. I love it. It is soft but has a good backbone. It lathers pretty well, my only gripe about it is the handle, I wish it was a little bit bigger, other than that it is an excellent brush IMO.

Thanked: 0Ok, so I went to a local AOS store to look. I checked out the brushes. Mine was the $55 base model. They had one for 80 and one for 180 I think. The one I had $55 felt not as good as the others, significantly different. The hair felt more loose. The other ones say hand made, it makes a difference.
I exchanged all my stuff $175 worth of stuff for store credit. I am going to think about it. I think I will end up getting a $80 brush and a nice stand for it. Then some small shave oil/soaps.
I picked up a dovo strop, the leather felt very soft. The one in the store was all cut up from people messing with it.
I picked up a dovo razor, WOW it just feels nice. Soild, clean, of course the blade felt dull. For sure they are not shave ready. The guy in the store never shaved with a strait razor and was not very knowledgeable. But I was very happy he gave me store credit.
