    Default Mug shave

I received colleen's soaps yesterday, but discovered that they don't fit in any of my 2 shaving mugs. They are made to fit soaps that are rounded at the bottom. The soap I got was shaped like a hockey puck, and did not fit at all.

I solved this by cutting up colleen's soap, putting it in the metal mug (looks a bit like a chalise, but does not grant eteral life ) and put it in the oven for half an hour at 100 degrees celsius, using only heated air (no grill ) Now it fits like a glove

But I was wondering if this is a difference between european - US mugs, or is this just coincidence.

15sec increments in the microwave would have done the trick. It really depends on the soap manufacturer. If your mug was too small for Colleen's stuff, it would have been too small for C&E soaps. That's why as soon as I got my soaps from Colleen, I brought one when I went shopping for bowls. You'll find the result in my gallery

yeah, the only thing to wach out for with a mug + microwave is that you might have metals in the paint used on the mug.
