Thanked: 4just received the omega 46065 combo... awesome!
i had been wanting to try a boar for a while just to see the difference between that and my badger and i have also been wanting to give the omega soap/cream a try. i stumbled across this beauty of a deal combining an omega 10065, a stand and tube (i assume for travel?), and the bowl of soap, all for £7.70 inc. postage from a seller on ebay! i would post the link for anybody interested but im not sure if it breaks any rules?
it arrived today and comes in a dedicated box with the goodies inside which i thought was quite nice as i expected the three things to just be chucked into an old box from the post office. i took it all out and had a play and its great! i think i prefer it to my badger brush, even though this is one of omega's cheaper models.
anybody else have this set and like it? im thinking of ordering another and giving it to my dad for his 50th along with a quality DE or something.

Thanked: 47I don't have the omega 10065 but I do enjoy shaving with boar bristle brushes along with my badgers. Shaving is all about finding what works for you and enjoying it. Glad you like it my friend.

Can't say that I have used the 10065 but I have a couple omega boars and love them all. I use them more than my badgers. My fav is the omega big pro.

Well, I don't know the model numbers but I used to have an Omega Speedmaster and a railmaster and they were nice pieces and....oh you mean an Omega shaving brush.
I haven't used that set but they make a great basic brush. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 4Nice work on that 29, Doryferon! I can't wait to see the final product!
I have a 98 and I love it! Starting to get kind of partial to boar.
