So, a little short on cash, but wanting to expand my brush collection, I checked out eBay for a bargain on a brush.

I found an AOS Fine Brush for auction. The brush was new in the sealed box and the seller was stating that it was a gift for her husband and that he used only shaving creams that do not require a brush.

After clearing my work calendar to be available for the end of the auction, I won the brush for $25 ( a $110 brush ). The brush delivered yesterday and I tried to use it today. The brushed arrived sealed in the original manufacturers box.

Within the first 10 swirls the brush lost literally over 50-60 hairs. Within the next 10 swirls I lost another 60-75 hairs. Needless to say, I stopped right there and the brush is in the garbage. I may try to separate the knot and handle and purchase a replacement knot.

Like I said, I guess you get what you pay for.
