    Default Straight Razor Designs vs Thater shaving brush

    Now that I have some extra money I want to order an extra brush, but I dont know if the price difference would make a big diference in performance. I like thater brushes and Ive read they are second to none and are compared to simpsons. But also like the SRD brushes with wood handles and the price is acceptable. So if anyone here has the pleasure to own one of this brushes and have been able to compare them an advise /opinion is more that welcome

    I've only had the Thater and I would highly recommend it if you like soft tips and plenty of backbone. I stay away from wood handles on shaving brushes but that is my own thing. I know a lot of guys use them with no problems.

    I am big fan of thater. Super soft, but nice and thick.
