Thanked: 1Brush upgrade or custom?
Hello Gents
Right then I have been using a crappy cheap badger hair brush (£10) now for about 3 months now and I have decided that I need an upgrade. I'm looking for a silver tip brush preferably a little larger than normal so 26mm+. My max is around £50. I have seen some online called Frank Shaving brushes and they are about £30 for my required brush however I don't know about the quality. The other option I have is to just buy to the badger knot and then just either buy a handle or make one, then just assemble it myself. If you guys have any other suggestions that would be very appreciated.
Cheers.

Bestshave...Turkish horse $3us. You can't go wrong. Seriously try a rotation of different hair. You have badger, go to horse and boar.

Thanked: 1184I have never bought a new brush. If I can do it myself, I do. For the price of 1 you could get 2 knots and redo the one you have and build another. Maybe try a boar or black badger. Broaden your options. My 2 cents probably worth 1 if you factor in inflation.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
