Brush stand for a 30mm brush
Hello Gents,
I am new to SR shaving. I grew up with a DE razor and lathering out of my great grandfathers occupational mug (Williams soap). I recently purchased a Whipped Dog 30mm resin handle silvertip brush. WOW! I realy love this brush; smooth, soft, lathers fantastically, price was great too. Does anyone know of a brush stand that will work with this large brush? Thank you in advance.

Most of the shaving supply outfits sell them but it will cost you more than the brush did. better to make one yourself even if it is made out of a twisted coat hangar.

I have a custom badger that is 31mm where the brush meets the handle, I guess this is how you measure it. None of my holders will due, so I ordered this last week from Royal Shave .com ; it's for large brushes, the service was fast & I'm happy with it. I am going to have a custom multi brush holder made later this year.

Thanked: 25I got the soapstone from Hobby Lobby. I just carved it with my dremel and some sanding drums. Best advice I can give about carving it is tons of ventilation. It throws off dust that is about as fine as talc and gets every where.
