Thread: We're gonna need a bigger bowl

so I made a super lather out of proraso's C. Bigelow shave cream and some vdh the other day and it was amazing.

I found some glycerin today and used some baldfrog with the Bigelow and glycerin and made some uberlather today. I was using my basic vdh hand dipped bowl, the green and black one.

Lather almost immediately flew up over the edges of the bowl and where I had to work the bubbles out into a true lather I managed to fill the bowl half full of lather that WASN'T on the brush and there was enough for probably six passes on the brush, and that's not counting what was on the outside of the bowl lol.

I think Im gonna need a bigger bowl.

Love that uberlather! It's even better when its warm! For more room and warm uberlather Lowe's has a African Violet Self Watering Pot for around $10, I used one for several months. Now I'm using a Robert Becker shaving scuttle.

I feel it only fair to warn you......warm lather will spoil you! Enjoy!

I am starting to think about it also.

i made what i thought was awesome uber last night it was really thick but I'ma dolt and didn't add quite enough water so on the first pass it dried out. i did fix it second pass by wetting my face real well
