At one time I had a tanooki hair brush that a family member brought back from a trip to Japan. It was a great brush, feeling like a mix of badger and boar. Unfortunately it completely fell apart after about a year of use.

Thanked: 4I had a great custom made brush with hedgehog hair. It exfoliated really well but I used an entire styptic pencil with each pass so it didn't work out so well. ;-)

What you want are some walrus hair bristles. The ones they use to scrape the bottom. True shaving nirvana. The boat leaves next month for the expedition. Anyone want to go?
