Badgers Best
After much reading I finally decided a badger brush is the way to go. Managed to find a comey brush locally with good knot size and loft. Have now had 2 shaves with this brush and although noob these are the only shaves I have had a good lather and irritation has all but disappeared and best shaves yet ever!!. Have to say I never believed the difference a brush could make to your lather an subsequent shave. Cheers for all the helpful posts to get me this far and keep it up. Ed

Welcome to the slippery slope of becoming a wet shaver. We will give you good advice, perhaps more than you want, to help guide you to enjoy all things wetshaving. Enjoy that new brush.

Like I always say, my friend drove around in a Yugo for years and thought it was the best car in the world and made fun of people who drove other cars. That was until it died on him and he got a different car. He sings a different tune now.
