That is exactly the justification I used to buy a synthetic travel brush. That and I already had boars and badgers so it was time for something completely different. If you want something different check this thread http://straightrazorpalace.com/brush...ting-crow.html .

I'm right there with you. Because I travel often I like to keep my DOPP kit packed at all times, with either duplicate or travel versions of the products I use at home. I bought a simpsons travel tube and an Omega 11047 brush (Italian version of the wee scot, perhaps the wee sicilian?), and then I just ordered an actual wee scot. The theme here seems to be just pick one that fits, probably not going to go wrong.

And for those that don't know, the store-bought simpson case is a whopping $5, really not too serious of an investment in my opinion.

I kind of put the idea of a travel brush on the back burner for a while, but a few days ago purchased a Simpsons Case with the travel tube. It's slightly bigger than a Wee Scott but still fits in the travel tube. It has really nice dense hair (nice enough to make me want to try a Chubby) and I get enough lather from it and my Tabac stick for 3 full passes. It takes little room in my travel kit I'm quite glad I purchased it.

    Anyone else try this brush?
