Thread: Why so...pretty?

I too have been baffled by these mugs.
To be honest (not that anyone wants me to be honest) my first thought when the lady brought me 8 or 10 of them to look at was
" Wow... could there have been that many gay men back then??"

Of course I quickly dissmissed it as she kept bringing out more and more of them.
Total of around 20 I think.
EVERYONE couldn't have been gay....hmmm...so why the flowers?

Maybe they were made to match the bathroom?

On that topic of metal mugs....I have some Stieff P50 Jefferson cups that I like but they have 2 problems.
1) they lose heat like a bad habit
2) the bottom is too small for the soap to fit

advantages
1) Pewter is cool
2) they really fit your hand nice
3 SO clean looking (lines I mean)

I wonder how a pre-oxidized copper mug would look?
