Thanked: 53 brushes in padauk
here are the latest. the handles are padauk, turned on the south bend lathe I inherited from my grandfather. they are finished by impregnating with polyurethane by immersing in poly varnish first subject to vacuum for a couple of hours, then pressure overnight. over that will be probably three coats of the same poly, rubbed out between coats.
the knot is black badger, 20mm x (according to the vendor 60mm) I measured about 57mm.
thanks for looking!

Thanked: 2284Don't you love the smell of Padauk!!! They look great. If ones for yourself, I'd love to see a bloom pic after you use it a couple times.

Lookin good, post pics w/ the finished products please.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
