Loft is around 55 mm. Including a pic after the second shave. The bloom is coming along!! Thanks for the kind words all!!

Very very nice Ray. I'm really impressed at the finish you've achieved with acrylic. I especially love the white brush, very pleasing to the eye. Your son's very lucky to have such a nice custom brush. Always means that much more when a gift is hand-made.

Thank you Simon, I will have to admit that my son, very much deserves this brush! After all he is the person that got me started straight razor shaving! After a year now I have over 60 razors. When I purchase any shaving soaps or aftershaves I include my son and even his best friend! I want them to enjoy the experience too. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks still!!

The brush is awesome! It lathers wonderfully and is soft. I have only been using it since I have gotten it, I'll probably start rotating it with my silvertip w/ aluminum handle after the "newness" sets in. The moon glow actually glows as well, which is a great feature! It makes finding my brush easy on those mornings I decide to shave in the dark!

I just measured my knot as well, and there is 54mm loft on it. I love the brush and was surprised to receive it, I thought they were all for Walleyeman's coworkers. Thank you!!

Here is a picture of it. I'd like to add that the bulb has fanned out more now that its been used, that picture was from when it was new and hadn't been used.
