    Default Custom bristle

I made this brush from copper, brass and sterling silver.
The bottom plate is a norwegian coin.
I worked with patinas, trying to bring out the colorful play in the various metals.
It is hard to photograph properly, but they run from silver and yellows, through browns and blues, even showing a hint of purple tint.

It sits a total of 13 cm/5.1". The handle is 8 cm/3.1". The knot is 24mm at 50mm loft.

It is not as heavy as one might think, and handles quite well. Just about 5oz/125 grams.

When I saw that in the SOTD I thought the handle was decades old. Nice job.

    Nice looking brush, Sten!

I seem to like a bit of length on my brush handles, and this one is right up my alley!

That's neat. Try using bronze instead of brass. The patina will be more interesting.

Really nice & original,,,looks great with the Nomad (my favorite soap) & looks like it belongs to the rider of that camel.
