Been there man, I had a fuller with a lucite handle that just would give up the old knot; finally after 4 hours it was clean enough room reknot. The scene o db the crime looked very similar to that shown above. .
Nice handle btw, it almost looks horn.

I'm still working on a Fuller Set in Rubber brush that just will not go easy. The main problem is this white plaster that clogs the dremel immediately. Then there is the metal ring that I have encountered on other set in rubber brushes... It's much thicker than usual, and I am having to go through it to open the throat for the larger knot. Wish I had a drill press!

So what made up the 6 hrs labor - just going easy with the drilling? Bet it turned out nice.

Speaking of bad days, I had this one set up and coming down with the end mill. Hand feed on my quill was sticky, and it slipped, caught the edge of the handle and shoved it from the vice
I think I can mill the top flat again but it's not going to look the same.

Turned out perfect, what was sad it was a very nice 30mm Knot, but set at 61mm, huge amt of epoxy was used.

If it took you 6, it'd have taken me 10 and I would have broken something.
Just asked cause I was interested to know if you were doing something different that I could learn Nice work.
