    Default My New Scuttle Brush

Here is my latest creation, a very cheap boar knot on a poplar handle. I am quite happy with the way it turned out, nice and long for my Georgetown Pottery scuttle. Finished with many coats of oil based poly. The knot was purchased from an E-Bay seller directly from China for dirt cheap. I bought 6 knots and the final price after shipping was $3 apiece! It is cheap and did lose a fair amount of bristles for a week but it has settled down, softened up and for the price I am quite happy. I just wanted to experiment with some different designs and materials. It is 22mm set at 53mm.
Thanks for looking, have a nice day, RobName: poplar brush 2.jpg

Handle looks very nice! I have a couple re-knots coming up, who was the ebay seller? Cheap is a good thing, and I am not in a big hurry so shipping time is not big deal.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Hi, the seller is classicshop2012 or Liojuny Shaving, and I was surpised at the speed of delivery, a week and a half if I recall.

MandoRob are you making any of these for sale? I've been looking for a brush with that kind of handle. If selling please PM with price, etc. Thank you.
