New to me. Mexican Chakte Koc,Easy turning,has to be Resin stabilized to retain the bright red colors.
The base of the brush is Chakte.

Thanked: 284I like that color - on this wood is the resin stabilization only for the colors? Or do you need it to prevent splitting, etc?

Do you stabilize your own material or do you buy it as such? Beautiful wood, and another gorgeous brush.
