    Default Maybe some Scrimwork??

Very Traditional style,Very large Pce of Legal Pre-ban Ivory,Than Lignum, than Cocobolo with an African Blackwood cap.
Am thinking of having the Ivory Scrimed,Perhaps a Celtic Knot Design.

Some scrimshaw work would be very neat.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Beautiful! I have been thinking about getting some African Blackwood to make some scales out of. I think you just made my mind up for me.

African Black has actually become my fave turning wood.Is denser Than Ebony and the grain is tighter.
    Takes a wonderfull polish.
Only downside is it has a high silica content and will dull even my Carbide tools in a heartbeat.
