    So, is that a copper pipe cap? Or did you actually turn copper on a lathe. If it is a pipe cap, that is a really cool piece of repurposing. And, I like the brush.

    Yes, I used a Copper pipe cap. It's glued and screwed... down. I used a pipe cutter to trim it down and then my lathe tool to bevel it at the top.
    My first brush like this I used copper pipe, it's more involved than this process. I had to turn the handle and make a short tenon to fit and then glued it onto the handle blank then finished turning it.
