Thanked: 17Highland Tip
Highland Tip
I have finished a few new brushes this week.
This one is a handfull.
It is Highland cow horn. The knot is 28mm Finest, set at 60mm. There is plenty of backbone in this big boy! I think it will be a hard soap eater, for sure.
The handle is 150mm, and the knot set at 60mm, so an overall length of 210mm.
There is a lovely colour towards the tip.

Thanked: 17The hole is straight sided.
I guestimated where to cut the horn to give enough diameter of solid material to drill the hole deep enough, but I did not measure the depth, I'm afraid.
I could have gone a little deeper for a lower loft, but a 60mm loft felt about right.
