Seems like the debate is always whether it not to *try* to put a waterproof seal on, or rather something less permanent like oils and waxes.I love living in the past...

Thanked: 2027Tung oil actually is not that durable,I use a product called Preserve,is also used on cutting boards,On wood it penetrates deeply.
I have brushes I made 10 years ago that still are in fine condition,zero problems.CAUTION
